Requirements

Majors in the College of Management should pick a course from Group A which is strongly business-related. The course may cover cultural, political or social material which provides background concerning the environment in which global business must be conducted. In general the course should focus on the modern period.

Business management courses in Group A are recommended but a course cannot be used to satisfy both major and minor requirements simultaneously.
Business majors are encouraged to take two courses from Group B on one particular area of the world. They should focus on modern aspects of the area in question: language courses focusing on the language of business are ideal choices.
