Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies
Examine and reinterpret existing data and assumptions regarding gender issues and women’s contributions to various fields.
Program Overview
Through the course of your studies, you will investigate how people’s lives are affected by gender, sexuality, sexual orientation, age, race, socioeconomic status, ethnicity and religion.
You’ll learn flexible thinking skills that will prepare you for a satisfying career in the nonprofit sector, public policy, law, media, social work, and for-profit institutions, among other spheres.

Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program
The WISE Program was created to address the underrepresentation of women and people of color in sciences and engineering. Faculty in both WGS and Science and Engineering encourages students’ interests in scholarship on women in science and engineering.
