About Us
Our programs cross academic disciplines and encourage students to explore the world in all its complexities.
Who We Are
We are out-of-the-box thinkers with interests in a variety of fields and industries. We help students find a course — or courses — of study that align with their unique academic interests, goals and career plans. Then we help them get there.
Our six academic majors and eight minors range from Africana studies to science, technology and society. We also partner with colleges across campus to offer dual degrees with engineering, science and business. At the graduate level, we sponsor three interdisciplinary graduate degrees and one graduate certificate.
As for our faculty, we boast top scholars from all corners of the university. They are talented teachers, researchers and advisors, who invest themselves in the success and academic development of every student.
Our Students Succeed
More than half our students graduate with special distinctions such as an honors society, GPA honors, co-majors, or a scholars, fellows, or dual degree program.
